Own cards featuring Michael Jordan's 4 different jersey numbers

Collecting Michael Jordan memorabilia should, by it's nature, also act as a record of history. Your collection should document the career of one of the greatest sportsmen of our time while at the same time providing you with an entertaining hobby.
One aspect of Jordan's career that is easy to incorporate into your collection is his varying jersey numbers. Over his career as a sportsman Jordan wore four jersey numbers: 23, 9, 45 and 12.
- 23 - We all know this jersey number. It is a number that is now immortal due to Jordan's influence on the sporting world. Almost all Jordan cards feature him wearing this number.
- 9 - As a member of the 1984 and 1992 US basketball olympic teams Jordan wore the number 9. Some say this was derived by adding 4 and 5 (45 was, Michael's brother and idol, Larry Jordan's jersey number). You can own a 1984 and a 1992 Jordan olympic card which features Jordan in this jersey.
- 45 - Upon moving onto a short baseball career and then on returning to the NBA in 1994, Jordan wore the number 45. He wore this number until 1996 when he returned to his famous number 23. You can own the 95-96 Skybox N-Tense and 94-95 Topps Finest cards to add Jordan wearing this number to your collection.
- 12 - Jordan wore the number 12 in one game in 1990. His jersey was stolen from the locker room just before the game and he had to use 12 as a replacement. As luck would have it, 1990-91 Hoops set features a card for Sam Vincent from this game. Michael Jordan is awaiting a rebound in the foreground wearing the number 12 jersey.
